This is an older resort which with a few small improvements could be marvellous without losing its small friendly community feel. It was our 2nd visit and despite my view on needing some tweaks, one that I will happily revisit.

The rooms were clean, cool and a good size.
Food was great. Resort was clean and well maintained. BA flights and transfers were good.
There should be chilled water machines around the resort as a huge number of plastic bottles generated. Neilson give every guest a couple of drinks bottles to refill which is also free advertising on the return which seems an obvious fix!
There should be an all inclusive option as presented with a big drinks bill at the end with no way of knowing if it’s correct.
The bikes were a little tired and not cleaned to maintain them in good order. Charging €5 per day to use bike pedals is a massive own goal as irritates guests on a £10k holiday. What next, wheels? Boats were good.
Generally the sports staff didn’t seem as engaged as in previous years and spent a lot of time on their phones.

We love Mark Warner and go at least once a year. I would usually give 5 stars but t was very disappointed this year to find there were NO kayaks when we arrived in May or for the duration of the holiday. We had specifically chosen Kamari Beach because of the kayaking as I am unable to take part in other watersports and my friend, with whom we were travelling, the same. Sitting on a SUP board and paddling was just possible but rather uncomfortable..
We did complain at the time. Unfortunately this situation very much restricted our participation in watersports this year. Luckily the lovely Teva was there.
I think we should have been warned beforehand about the lack of advertised facilities.

Excellent staff attitude most of the time. Excellent club manager. Beach staff inexperienced and apprehensive about letting sailors annd windsurfers out in the prevailing offshore wind when it was above 10 knots. Bicycles in a bad state of repair. Food excellent. Rooms very clean. Island lovely. The resort needs to be on the east side of the island to be good for sailing and windsurfing.

Enjoyable holiday despite a heat wave. Great food, friendly staff and the choice of multiple activities or not to keep you occupied. Clean modern rooms, wi-fi better than at home and our children loved their kids clubs . especially the waterfront activities. When I needed a quiet time the adult pool was an escape.

Charming unspoilt Island. Very friendly people. Beautiful villages and mountain views. Can easily be visited by bike. Local village an easy walk too. Plenty of beautiful wildlife to see on the island.
Great strong wind sailing conditions and good equipment. Mark Warner staff incredibly helpful and kind. Hotel staff great too and very welcoming and informative about the area as well as the hotel . Rooms very clean and modern with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Food was very good with plenty of local delicacies.

Great resort, helpful staff and good facilities. Only point for improvement would be food - good, but not as good as some other Mark Warner venues. There was also a bit of a towel battle over the best sunbeds, with most of the good ones gone by 0700hrs. Not much the staff can do about it but it's annoying, nonetheless!
