Padel comes to Paleros Beach Resort

We've built 2 new padel courts at Paleros Beach Resort on Greece's Ionian Coast for this summer. Padel is one of the fastest growing racquet sports, and you can get on court and give it a go with Mark Warner.

If you love tennis, or are a newcomer to racquet sports, you should certainly give padel a try - a tennis-squash hybrid that’s been around since the 60s. With newly built padel courts and the latest equipment, we’re now offering padel as part of our holiday packages at our Paleros, Kamari, and Aeolian Village resorts in Greece.

Guests tell us that they love the smaller courts with walls (similar to a squash court), which means the ball is never too far away. The rules of the game are easily to pick up with scoring more or less the same as in tennis. However, like squash, you can still hit the ball after it is has bounced off the wall.  Padel can be played by families, people of all ages and abilities. 

Our expert tennis coaches are on hand to give you padel pointers, or even private padel coaching tuition, if you’d like to boost your skills at this new sport.
