As Activities Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and organising each activities department to ensure the highest level of safety, service and tuition. Requirements

  • Proven management experience within the sports industry
  • Experience within one, or more, of our departments: Cycling, Tennis, Water Sports or Fitness
  • Completion of a season with Mark Warner or a similar company (Desirable)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • UK/EU passport holder
  • UK National Insurance or EU Social Security number and UK/EU bank account

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as Activity Manager for our resort and figure head for the waterfront and land sport departments
  • Ensure our departments meet Mark Warner standards
  • Encourage feedback from both staff and guests to help ensure our programmes are up to date and in line with guests preferences and needs
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of our departments and their equipment
  • Assist with the staff rota to deliver a full programme for the guests
  • Ensure the appearance of our resort is smart, tidy and professional
  • Evaluate and manage risks across our resort
  • Complete weekly reports
  • Assist with organising a safety and information brief for guests
  • Having presence and presenting at the resort welcome meeting and end of week presentations
  • Assist with the general operation of the resort and other departments
